IEEE P1164 Working Group - Change Proposal ID: CP-001 Proposer: Peter Ashenden Status: Proposed (1-Jun-2001) Analyzed (17-Nov-2002) Resolved (17-Feb-2003) Summary: Uncomment xnor operators Detail: IEEE Std 1164-1993 has the declarations of the xnor operators commented out, with the comment that the operator should be provided once the VHDL standard has been revised to include the operator. Since that has now happened (as of IEEE Std 1076-1993), P1164 can remove the commenting, making the overloaded xnor part of the standard unconditionally. Analysis: By Peter Ashenden , 17-Nov-2002 As documented in Std 1164-1993, the intent of the working group was that the overloaded xnor operators be made available once the xnor operator was included in the VHDL standard. Since that has occurred, P1164 can make the overloaded xnor operator available unconditionally.
