Subject: Accellera FV September 5-th -- Motion 4 Ballot
Motion 4: To revise the balloting procedures for significant issues, as
follows:
- vote to be taken by email (no change)
- 2 week advance notice of vote (new requirement)
- response "quorum" lowered to 60% (from 80%)
- limit the number of votes to 2 per company, 1 per academic
representative (instead of 1 per person)
- a company must have 2 active representatives to cast both of its
2 votes
- eligibility for votes is based on company representation at 3 of past
4 meetings
This motion will be balloted according to our existing rules for
"significant issues."
Please cast your email vote by Friday, September 14-th.
