Hi,
    I am looking for an example that shows how to IBIS a device which
has two separate power supply sets of pins, VCC and VCCQ, where VCC is
the internal supply, excluding the source of the Pch in the outputs, and
VCCQ is the pins to the source of the Pch in the output.
Question 1: How to properly show this in the pin list
Question 2: How to show a VCCQ range of 3.0V to 3.6V AND 2.25V to 2.75V
in the same file.
Question 3: How to show multiple PULLUP and PULLDOWN wave forms based on
the 50 ohm terminator for each being first to VCCQ, then to GND.

I have the IBIS FORUM I/O BUFFER MODELING COOKBOOK and the I/O Buffer
Information Specification (IBIS) Version 2.1 (Dec 13, 1995) and both
make reference to this being possible, but, no examples. I have also
searched many web sites for examples, but, no one does any of the above.
Can any one help?

To all:

I have recieved electrical data for a QFP package in the following form:

R11 - self resistance, corner and center lead values
L11 - self inductance, corner and center lead values
L12 - mutual inductance to 1st adjacent lead, corner and center lead values
L13 - mutual inductance to 2nd adjacent lead, corner and center lead values
C11 - bulk capacitance, corner and center lead values
C12 - mutual capacitance to 1st adjacent lead, corner and center lead values
C13 - mutual capacitance to 2nd adjacent lead, corner and center lead values

I am trying to put this data together in ibis format (.pkg) (banded matrix?
Bandwidth = 2?), but have never seen a .pkg file or the format.  I have the ibis
spec, but it lacks examples and leaves too much to be assumed.

Does anyone have any examples/experience to help clarify the best way for me to
input this data?

I have created a package from the manufacturers data and the IBIS spec.  Can
anyone tell me if it is in the correct format?  I have attached the .pkg model
and the data is as follows:

C12 - mutual capacitance to 1st adjacent lead, corner = 0.571pF, center =

I appreciate any insight as I need to release this model and would like to
include the packege model portion if I can believe it is correct.

   I took a quick look thru your file, and it looks OK.  Have you run
it thru the golden parser?  That would be the real test for checking
format and syntax.

   According to both EIA and IBIS open forum policy, the ibis and ibis-users
reflectors are for discussion of IBIS related issues *only*.  We do not allow 
job postings.  If you wish to post job opening, the si-list reflector would
be the appropriate forum.
