Wolff) 9:40 - 9:50 AM IBIS 4.2 WIP Issues Checkpoint (All) ======================================================================== Opens ----- Parser issues were briefly discussed. John and Michael DDR2 Thresholds ----- Randy Wolff issued new draft BIRD text to support simple area-under-the-curve thresholds for DDR2. New drawings and subparameters have been added. Arpad inquired about positive vs. negative overshoot, as calculations for "negative" overshoot values could get difficulty. Team agreed that most specifications are inconsistent here, including DDR2. Bob noted that Randy's assumptions are consistent but negative area may be allowed. John observed that the use of absolute voltages can give tool designers and even users trouble. Team decided to keep consistency with JEDEC. Some confusion remains over the use of [Voltage Range] and reference keyword requirements. Randy to add in additional language to clarify. ARs ----- Bob Ross - contact Samtec regarding web site mentions of ICM support Michael Mirmak - confirm with Lance that the models web page will be updated with relevant ICM model references Michael Mirmak - fix, with a few words, the EBD comment issue Lynne Green - update change proposals for Cookbook Michael Mirmak - check name limit extension parser scoping John Angulo - check analog-only parser scoping
