Advance Registration
You can register in advance for EDP 2004 in two ways:

• Use the registration link (credit cards only), which is encrypted with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology and can only be read by the IEEE Computer Society. This information will be verified and you will receive written confirmation via postal mail (e-mail register@computer.org or call +1 202 371 0101 if not received after 10 days).

Print the form, fill in the requested information, and mail or fax it with your payment to the IEEE Computer Society. You will receive a written confirmation of your registration by postal mail (e-mail register@computer.org or call +1 202 371 0101 if not received after 10 days).

To qualify for advance registration discounts, your registration form and payment must be received by 5:00pm Eastern Time, April 12 2004. Registrations received after the deadline may not be acknowledged and must be resubmitted for processing onsite.

EDP 2004 Conference Registration Fees

EDP 2004 Conference Registration includes admission to the technical sessions, conference reception and banquet, and continental breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks on two of the three days.

Member and Student Discounts
To qualify for discounted registration rates, include your current IEEE and/or IEEE Computer Society membership number with the registration form. IEEE Life Members may register at the Student Member rate. If you are not currently a member, you can enjoy discounted registration rates by applying for IEEE or IEEE Computer Society membership now.

Full-time students (nonmembers) must show a valid student id card in when registering in order to qualify for this discounted rate.

International Attendees
International attendees can register in advance and pay by wire transfer for an additional processing fee of $25 per wire transfer. Wire transfers must be received by April 12 2004 and will not be accepted at on-site registration. Please contact us at register@computer.org for bank transfer instructions.

Invitation Letters
Our policy is that invitation letters can be issued only to speakers, presenters, committee members, and IEEE members who have paid their registration fees in full. Letters will only be sent by US Postal Mail or fax and only to the individual registered for the conference.

Registration Confirmation
Written confirmation of conference registration will be sent by postal mail by the IEEE Computer Society within 48 hours of receiving your registration. If you do not receive confirmation, please call +1-202-371-0101 or e-mail register@computer.org..

On-site Registration
On-site registrants will pay late registration fees.

Cancellations and Substitutions
Cancellations and substitutions are allowed. However, full registration fees will be charged unless a cancellation notice is sent in writing, and received or faxed on or before Friday, 12 April 2004 to:

A $50 handling fee will be applied to all canceled registrations. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations canceled after the deadline. No-shows will be billed. Contact the IEEE Computer Society at the above address for substitutions (allowed at any time).

A letter on your company's letterhead is required from the original registrant stating the conditions of the substitution and the name of the replacement.
