I get about three of these emails per week supposedly from Nigeria, South
Africa, Uganda, Angola, etc.
All I can say is there sure are a whole lot of really rich Africans ;-)
Hopefully, everyone knows this is a scam and the next step is to ask for
your bank account number so they can transfer the money into your account
but of course the transfer is usually in the other direction. Asking for a
copy of your passport probably makes for good identity theft, too.
The local radio station mentioned that a lot of people are actually falling
for this one.
Like I say, I am amazed at all the rich Africans and also all of the email
that I get from princes, princesses, heads of state, etc., that want to
share 20-30% of $25 million to $50 million with little-ol'-me!
If I am ever elected President, scammers like this will fry!
