The next mtg of the OVL/Assertion committee is this Friday, 8/17/01 at 9am

Mtg Agenda:

The mtg will be split into two parts, the first part will involve discussion
related to the Accellera Assertion language extensions. The second part of
the mtg will be used to cover the OVL library maintenance and extensions.
1. Assertions
- review the strawman Assertion Extension Requirements Proposal document
(previously distributed by Harry Foster)
- discuss construction of the "official" Assertion Requirements document
that will be submitted to the HDL+ committee
- discuss VHDL assertion requirements and how we will address them
2. OVL
- discuss recent submissions for OVL assertion module modifications from
Sean Smith (thanks for the contributions!)
- tasks for init, error, finish
- sampling event mods to assert_always, etc. (e.g.
assert_always_on_edge)
- discuss other new assertion module candidates
